I am the Chief Building Inspector at the District, an experienced Captain, building contractor, and building official with a strong background in construction, building codes, inspections, and public safety. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive knowledge of construction practices, code compliance, plan review, inspections, and project management.

I hold multiple professional certifications in construction and building inspections, reflecting my commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. My experience allows me to effectively evaluate compliance with applicable codes and standards, and work with contractors, property owners, and professionals to ensure projects are completed safely and properly.

As a Captain and building official, I bring together leadership, field experience, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to protecting people and property. I take pride in my ability to lead teams, solve complex construction and code-related issues, and promote safe, compliant, and quality construction.

I hold a Master of Engineering in Construction Management from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of San Diego, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. My professional journey includes diverse roles in estimating, project management, operations management, and field management within the commercial construction sector. With hands-on experience managing projects end-to-end and expertise in operations coordination, I have developed a well-rounded understanding of efficiently leading complex construction initiatives while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
