About the IFC:
Our Profile
The International Firestop Council is a not-for-profit association
of manufacturers, distributors and installers of passive fire
protection materials and systems in North America.
Our Mission
IFC's mission is to promote the technology of fire and smoke
containment in modern building construction through research,
education and development of safety standards and code provisions.
Our Organization
The IFC is organized by committees who direct the association
programs. The IFC is managed by Sean DeCrane, Executive
Director.
Our Officers
The current IFC officers for 2007 are:
- President - Sarah Brewer, Unifrax
- Vice President - Jim Park, Presealed Systems
- Treasurer - Philip Zanghi, Grace Construction Products
- Education Committee Chairperson - John Sinisi, Firestop Inspectors
- Code Action Committee - Richard Licht, 3M (Retired)
